Shotwell 0.14 – You Can Finally Hide The Sidebar

A new release of photo management and editing tool ‘Shotwell’ is available for download.
Primarily focusing on fixes, Shotwell 0.14 brings numerous improvements. These include:

• Improved RAW support & handling
• New slideshow effects
• Uses Facebook Graph API [Facebook Uploading]
• Photo titles appear as captions on Facebook [Facebook Uploading]
• Video importing tweaks
• Option to hide Shotwell sidebar

Shotwell 0.14 will ship as a default application in Ubuntu 13.04. But if you can’t wait until then you’ll find packages for Ubuntu 12.04 & 12.10 available in the Yorba PPA.
